Growing up on a family farm, Diane Myers was always fond of livestock, little did Diane know that her passion would turn into a business servicing the continental United States.
As a young teenager, Diane was asked by a neighboring farmer to help work at his poultry farm. The farmer specialized in started Capons, there she learned the skill of caponizing. When the neighboring farmer retired in 1988 he asked Diane to take over the operations, leading to the start of Myers Started Capons. Diane grew the business raising started capons at her farm, as well as doing custom caponizing for clients in Michigan, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, California, and Nevada.
